12 Sep 35th Superbiker in Mettet
This year, the Elf Moto Superbiker in Mettet will be much richer and different from the previous years.
For this special 35th anniversary edition, there will of course be races, but also challenges, on the circuit, for everyone. A show with a global dimension and two nights of concerts with the new After Race Festival.
On 7, 8 and 9 October 2022, the world’s best supermoto specialists will meet on the Jules Tacheny circuit for three days of exceptional racing. More than 400 riders have answered the call, including the title holder Marc-Reiner Schmidt, in the Prestige category. In the Starbiker category, the riders of the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy will once again be present.
There is no superbiker without a show, and this year it will be sumptuous with, among others, the German Luck Ackermann, the X Games champion, surrounded by the best freestyle riders in the world, including the Belgian Julien Vanstippen who will come to Mettet with a special ramp to perform frontflips.
The After Race Festival is coming to Mettet.
After the races, it’s time for music, with a festival, under a big top, on Friday and Saturday evening. On Friday, the After Race Festival will welcome Slick, Replay and Mother Cover, three cover bands. On Saturday, a techno-electro festival with 6 DJs on the bill including DJ Ghost and the famous Mademoiselle Luna.
Finally, the Elf Moto Superbiker in Mettet is open to all with its three Challenges: Junior, Vintage and Ladies. The Mettet Junior Challenge to allow young riders between 10 and 14 years old to show their talent in front of the stars of the discipline. The Mettet Supermoto Vintage Challenge is for those who own a machine dating from before 2004. The Mettet Supermoto Ladies Challenge will be the occasion for women to compete in a 100% female race on bikes provided by the organisation.
